Wisconsin Personal Injury Lawyer

Christopher J. Stawski has been handling personal injury cases for injured people throughout Wisconsin for the last 25 years.  He regularly practices in courts throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee County, Waukesha County and Racine County.

Chris and his staff understand that when you’ve been injured in an accident, you want prompt and courteous attention.  Chris will meet you at his office in downtown Milwaukee, or at an office in Cudahy. He can also come to you if necessary.  There is no charge for an initial consultation, and Chris routinely handles cases on a contingent fee basis – in other words, you  won’t owe any attorneys’ fees unless Chris succeeds in obtaining money on your behalf.

When you have an accident, you might be contacted by an insurance company or an attorney, who wants to take your statement.  Before you provide any statements, you should talk to an attorney.  Chris can help to ensure that nothing you say about the accident will be taken out of context or used against you unfairly in a court case.

Chris has handled well over one thousand personal injury cases for clients who have been injured in any number of ways, including injuries resulting from auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, recreational accidents, work accidents, medical negligence and nursing home negligence, to name a few.  Chris can also help you with disputes that you may have with insurance companies about payment of medical bills, and disability claims that might arise from your injuries.

Chris is highly respected in the legal community, and frequently receives referrals from attorneys throughout Wisconsin and other parts of the country.  Chris has tried many cases to juries and judges, and he will take your case all the way to trial, if that is what is needed to get a fair result for you.  He has also settled many cases out of court, without the need for a trial, thereby obtaining monetary recoveries for his clients at an earlier stage of the lawsuit, and avoiding the need for his clients to testify in depositions or participate in lengthy court proceedings.

Chris has served on the Wisconsin Board of Governors for the Wisconsin State Bar, and is involved in many other civic and charitable activities.  He currently resides in St. Francis, Wisconsin, and is a graduate of Marquette University Law School, where he received his law degree in 1986.

Chris and his staff want to see that your case gets the personal attention it deserves.  Unlike some other law firms, Chris does not advertise on television or radio, relying instead on word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients and other attorneys.  If you would like to talk to Chris about your case, please call his office at (414) 276-8202 or send him a message through our Free Case Review process.  We look forward to working with you to help obtain the compensation that you deserve
